Trekking-Torres-600Located in the southern tip of South America, Torres del Paine National Park is perhaps one of the most spectacular wilderness areas in the world. Blue lakes, huge impressive glaciers, and beautiful green landscapes surround these amazing rocky peaks, where we find abundant colorful flora, and magnificent fauna: Pumas, Guanacos, Chilla foxes, Condors, Eagles, Ducks, etc.

Day 1: Arrival to Santiago.

Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel (www.hotelbidasoa.cl).

Day 2: Santiago – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales.

Transfer to the airport in Santiago, and flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival in Punta Arenas we transfer you to the city of Puerto Natales. Accommodation in Aquaterra Lodge (www.aquaterrapatagonia.com). Breakfast.

Day 3: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine Look out.

Before you leave Puerto Natales, we can store in the hotel all the extra things and clothing that you will not use during the trekking days. Then, and using our private vehicle, in the morning we start driving towards the National Park to our trek starting point. From here we will hike to the Torres del Paine-lookout, from where we can get one of the most spectacular views in the park: three granite pinnacles towering above a green, cirque-bound lake in a deep, narrow valley. The scene is the remaining of the intense past glaciations. Torres camp (or Refuge). Breakfast, Lunch Box, and dinner.

Day 4: Camp Seron.

After breakfast, we start our Torres del Paine trekking circuit. Today it will be approximately 4 hours of trekking along beautiful beech forests until we reach Seron camp at the borders of the Paine River. Set up our camp. Breakfast, Lunch Box, and dinner.

Day 5: Dickson.

In the morning we start hiking towards Dickson camp. This trek goes along the Paine River and it will take approximately 6 hours to reach our camp place. When arriving at our camp, we will be able to enjoy the view of the south continental ice cap for the first time (Dickson Glacier). Refuge and dinner. Breakfast, Lunch Box, and dinner.

Day 6: Perros Camp.

On this day we will hike the path through one of the most beautiful places of this trekking tour. Along of this 5-hours hike, we will be able to contemplate impressive forests of Lengas and Coigues, to finally conclude with a spectacular view of Perros Glacier calving directly into a small lake. Perros Camp. Breakfast, Lunch Box and Dinner.

Day 7: Camp Grey.

This is the longest walking day of the circuit, and also has one of the best views of the Park. At the beginning we gradually climb to the tree line then continue on to John Garner pass (1240m). From the top of the pass we get awe-inspiring views of the enormous Grey Glacier coming down from the southern ice sheet. Then we descend to the tree line, and continue on the side of the massive Grey Glacier, which fills the valley with heavily crevassed ice. We continue on to our camp near Lake Grey. Camp (or Refuge). Breakfast, Lunch Box, and Dinner.

Day 8: Camp Pehoe.

After a restful morning, we leave in the afternoon towards Lake Pehoe, trekking along the way with beautiful views of the Lake Grey, and its icebergs. Camp or Refuge. Breakfast, Lunch Box, and Dinner.

Day 9: Pehoe - French Valley – Cuernos refuge.

Today we have breakfast early in the morning in order to start our trek to the French Valley. After 3 hours we will arrive at the Camp Italiano from where a 2 hours hike will take us to a lookout point to contemplate the most dramatic ice and rocky peaks in the Chilean Patagonia: Cuernos, Espada, Hoja, Mascara, Paine Grande, Aleta de Tiburon, etc. Back to camp Italiano from where we trek to Cuernos refuge (4 hours). Breakfast, Lunch Box, and Dinner.

Day 10: Cuernos – Las Torres – Puerto Natales.

After breakfast we start our last day hike to complete the whole trekking circuit of Paine Mountain Range. We will be arriving at the trek starting point camp Las Torres (5 hours), from where our vehicle will carry us to Puerto Natales. Hotel. Breakfast, Lunch Box.

Day 11: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas airport. – Santiago

Transfer to Punta Arenas for your flight back to Santiago de Chile. Transfer to Hotel Bidasoa (or similar). Free time. B

Day 12: Santiago Out:

Transfer out to the airport for your flight back home (optional extensions are available: Atacama Desert, Peru and Machu Picchu, Ecuador and Galapagos, Bolivia and Salar de Uyuni, Iguacu Waterfalls). B.
